Introduction to the AR-15 Rifle

The AR-15 platform rifle is the most popular

center fire rifle on the market today.  It is

based on the US military M-16 and M4 Carbine

platform, but is semi-auto only.  People who

shoot AR-15 rifles do it for a variety of

reasons, fun target shooting, precision target

shooting, competition, and hunting.  It is a

modular constructed rifle allowing owners to

change components to fit their needs.  One

can even build a custom AR-15 by buying all

the components and assembling the rifle

The AR-15 is a rifle that becomes a hobby in its self.  Owners accessorize their guns with all sorts of goodies.  There is nothing better than shooting a rifle that you personalize.

But, in order to get to know the AR-15 platform quickly, you should take a class.  There is a lot to learn when working with the AR-15 platform rifle.

I teach a class called INTRODUCTION TO THE AR-15, designed for beginners [first-time buyers].
